Whats the difference between the callaway x forged irons and the taylormade rac mb irons.?
Thinking about looking at buying a set of forged clubs and was looking a both of these sets and i see that the callaways have a small cavity back to them for forgiveness and the taylormades have better feel to them if i get the x forged i will be gettting the rife 6.0 shafts in them. But does anyone have any recommendations with these two clubs which is better out of the two or comments or concerns.
The answer is in the club names. The MB stands for muscle back, and the Calloways have a cavity back. The cavity puts the weight lower and to the heel and toe of the club. This makes it difficult to hit low shots when you want, and a little harder to work the ball - but will provide a straighter shot on an off center hit. It is a matter of how consistent your ball striking is which will work better for you.
